2024 Valley Merit Badge College


The 2024 Valley District Merit Badge College will be held on Saturday, December 7th at Front Range Community College, 3645 W. 112th Ave, Westminster, CO from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.Classes are on a "first come, first served" basis so the earlier you register, the more likely you'll be able to sign up for the classes you want.


Day of the event registrations will be accepted if there is space available. Space will be limited, especially the Eagle required classes. Valley's District's Merit Badge College is open to all districts.

Again this year, we are offering the Merit Badge Completion Clinic. You will find it listed among the other classes on this registration. During registration select new Merit Badges desired in periods 1-4 and the Completion Clinic during period 4-5.  Bring your partially completed Merit Badge Blue Cards, slips and summer camp reports, plus your completed prior unfinished work. You are expected to complete unfinished work prior to coming to the Clinic. Counselors will review your work. Bring photos, work, or other documentation of completion of unfinished requirements.

Please keep in mind that each Scout may only complete 3 Eagle Required classes.

Prerequisites will be emailed once Registration is Completed

Class Periods and Lunch
Period 1: 8:00 - 9:30 am
Periods 1 & 2: 8:00 - 11:10 am
Period 2: 9:40 - 11:10 am
Periods 2 & 3: 9:40 am - 12:50 PM (Lunch will be held after this period)
Period 3: 11:20 am - 12:50 pm (Lunch will be held after this period)
Period 3a: 11:40 am - 1:10 pm (Lunch will be held before this period)
Period 3a & 4: 11:40 am - 2:50 pm (Lunch will be held before this period)
Period 4: 1:30 - 2:50 pm
Periods 4 & 5: 1:20 - 4:30 pm
Period 5: 3:00 - 4:30 pm

Cost is $30 for the day 

Lunch is not provided. 

Lunch will be hosted by the OA again for purchase.  $5 for 2 slices of pizza and a drink.  Additional slices can be purchased.  Scouts may bringing their lunch as well.
